Monthavee Jirawatthavee is an experienced architect, urban designer, and infrastructure planner. While his early expertise was rooted in architectural preservation and conservation, having been trained and practiced in the field for years, his current focus lies in integrating social aspects into spatial planning and design. He achieves this through community participatory tools and platforms that foster inclusive development.

Some of his most notable projects include Baan Mankong Bung Bang Sue (โครงการบ้านมั่นคงบึงบางซื่อ), Baan Mankong Wat Phraya Krai (โครงการบ้านมั่นคงวัดพระยาไกร), and the Tsunami Aftermath Housing Project at Baan Nam Kem, Phang-Nga.

With over two decades of experience as a community architect for NGOs, he has specialized in affordable housing design and has worked as a private consultant for governmental development projects. His collaborations include agencies such as the Department of Public Works & Town and Country Planning, the Royal Irrigation Department, the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, and the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (Public Organization).
